Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Hisabchi ("हिसाबची") at hisabchi.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You must have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP-based login
• You must be operating a legitimate business in India
• One person may only create one owner account

Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period ends, your account will switch to read-only mode until you subscribe to a paid plan.

Subscriptions & Payments

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Razorpay
• Payments are processed securely — we never store your card or UPI details
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by law

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter
• You must not use the service for illegal activities or tax fraud
• You must not attempt to access other users' or tenants' data
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or overload the service
• You are responsible for keeping your mobile number secure (it is your login credential)

Your Data

You own the business data you enter into Hisabchi. We do not claim any rights to it. We act as a data processor on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Are used for fraudulent or illegal purposes
• Generate excessive load that affects other users

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. All your data will be permanently erased within 90 days of the request.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Hisabchi available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date is always shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
